ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF VITAMINS A1 AND As

چکیده
In the rods of certain fresh-water fishes rhodopsin is replaced by a purple photolabile pigment which I have suggested be called porphyropsin. This was first observed in situ by Kiihne and Sewall (1880), and was examined spectrographically in solution by K~ittgen and Abelsdorff (1896). Porphyropsin enters a retinal cycle which is identical in form with that of rhodopsin, but contains different carotenoids in the positions of retinene and vitamin A. The substance which replaces vitamin A in the fresh-water fish retina reacts with antimony chloride to yield a deep blue color due to an absorption band at about 696 m/~, accompanied by a broad subsidiary hump at about 640 m# (Wold, 1937). Almost simultaneously with the announcement of these observations, Lederer and Rosanova (1937) reported that substances yielding

بررسی تاثیر برخی از ویتامینهای گروه B و آنتی اکسیدانها بر سطوح سرمی آپولیپوپروتیین A1 و آپولیپوپروتیین B در بیماران دیابتی نوع دو
Background: Lipoprotein abnormalities have been identified among the several risk factors that could account for increases the risk of CVD in diabetes. Abnormal status of B-group and antioxidant vitamins in diabetes may illustrate the benefits of these vitamins supplementation on modification of lipid profiles. Methods: As a randomized double blind placebo controlled clinical trial, 110 type 2...
متن کاملبررسی فراوانی آنتیبادی Anti A1 در افراد با گروه خونی A2
Background & Aims: Mistyping either a donor or a recipient can lead to transfusion with ABO incompatible blood which results in severe intravascular hemolysis and may even result in the death of the recipient. ABO phenotype is one of the essential tests in immunohematology. Eighty percent of blood group A and AB persons are subtype A1 and A1B, respectively. The other 20% of these...
متن کاملReport blue-green algae from the southern coast of the Caspian Sea (City of Noor)
The blue green algae as photosynthetic organisms have a main effect on life and productivity of the aquatic ecosystems. Intensive and longtime studies on identification, distribution, and diversity of Cyanophyta have to be a crucial task in the Caspian Sea. Four transects were determined parallel to the Sabzehrud River, the Lavij River, the Noor River, and the Faculty of Marine Sciences of Tarb...
متن کاملThe role of adenosine A1 receptors on post seizure depression period in rats
Epilepsy is among the most common disorders of the central nervous system and there is not an absolute method for its treatment. It has been shown that each seizure has a depressing effect on the following seizure. Thus, finding the mechanisms responsible in this phenomenon can improve our knowledge toward new ways for epilepsy treatment. In this study, the role of adenosine A1 receptors in ...
متن کاملLow-frequency Stimulation Decreases Hyperexcitability through Adenosine A1 Receptors in the Hippocampus of Kindled Rats
Introduction: In this study, the role of A1 adenosine receptors in improving the effect of Low-Frequency Electrical Stimulation (LFS) on seizure-induced hyperexcitability of hippocampal CA1 pyramidal neurons was investigated. Methods: A semi-rapid hippocampal kindling model was used to induce seizures in male Wistar rats. Examination of the electrophysiological properties of CA1 pyramidal neur...
متن کاملThe Effect of Aerobic Training and Adenosine on the Expression of SREBP-1C and A1 Receptor in Hepatic Fat-fed Rats
Background and Objectives: Few studies have examined so far the effect of adenosine receptors’ injection and its downstream pathway on the liver’s fat metabolism. The aim of this study was to investigate the type of aerobic exercise and adenosine on the expression of sterol regulatory binding protein 1c SREBP-1c and the adenosine receptor A1 in the liver in the rats fed with high-fat foods. Mat...
